What Is Holy Yoga

Can Christians Practice Yoga?

Some people may wonder if it’s okay for Christians to do yoga, and we believe the answer is yes! There is a misconception that yoga is a religion. But it’s actually a spiritual discipline (like meditation, prayer, fasting or worship). We believe that there is only one God, who exists for all eternity in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. So, we use yoga as a way to connect – heart, soul, mind and strength, with God.

What is Holy Yoga?

Holy Yoga Hawaii embraces the essential elements of yoga: breath work, meditation and physical postures. In all of these elements, Christ is the focus of our intention and worship. Our programs and teachings place emphasis on the complete wellbeing of your body and soul. So, they are not to be performed, but to be lived. And our Christ-centered yoga philosophy doesn’t focus on what you have been, but on the person you are becoming in Christ. Our passion drives our mission by creating space for a life-changing transformation. Through Holy Yoga Hawaii, you will learn and live a life’s journey of inspiration, fellowship and spirituality.

Foundation We Stand On

Christ-Centered

The Core Of Who We Are

Jesus is central to all that Holy Yoga stands for and the reason we exist. In Him alone we know who we are and who we are living for (Ephesians 1:11). While yoga philosophy is presented, Holy Yoga’s programs are based solely on the Word of God.

Wellness

Heart, Soul, Mind & Strength

We are a community that loves Jesus and embraces holistic movement and wellness. Our bodies are the Temple Of Holy Spirit; We seek to honor God with all Of our being. Heart, Mind, Body and Spirit.

Loving Community

Together Is Better

We are committed to being a safe and welcoming haven for a broken and hurting world, by living an embodied faith that transforms the world around us with the love of Christ.

Statement of Faith

Equipped For Ministry

Holy Yoga believes that there is only one God, who exists for all eternity in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God has revealed Himself to us both through His creation and Word, and He continues to reveal Himself to His people through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We believe that there is only one way to God, through His Son, Jesus Christ, and that God made forgiveness and redemption available to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Also, that those who are His will be made known by their love for God and for all people. Finally, we stand on the Bible as absolute truth, being the divinely authored and authoritative Word of God.
